Flowery and ripe fruity aromas next to almond and walnut. Tasty and mineral with a pronounced acid structure and the roundness of the minimal residual sugar. Storable. “A must” for every white wine lover.
The white grape variety
Kéknyelű
; is a rare and unusual Hungarian variety with green skin. Kéknyelű is named after the characteristic blue shade of its stems (hence the German name blue stalk). The variety was once widespread, but much of it withdrew in the 1970s in favor of more productive and reliable international varieties. It is now limited to just a small part of western Hungary, on the north shore of Lake Balaton in Badascony. At the turn of the century, only around 40 hectares of Kéknyelű were cultivated.
