The flagship wine from winery Takler.
A full-bodied red, extremely rich in its boquet as well as its flavour. Notes of fruits of the forest with dominant marks of black currant are complimented by a hint of truffles. Aged for 12 months in 500 litre new and second used Hungarian oak barrels.

"My deeper friendship with wine started with a Merlot. I was struck by the complexity of the aroma, in which there appeared many different types of cherries, cherries and even some notes of ripe cherry tomatoes - which are at least characteristic of a wine aroma - and of course the spices: cloves, tobacco... Then I tasted it and I remember being amazed how a red wine can be such a full-bodied, big, tannic tiger and a beautiful, tender, cuddly fawn at the same time I can still feel this sympathetic duplicity in the best, largest Merlots - and the top wine from Takler Keller, which is also one of the top Merlots in the country, brings this old, wine-friendly memory of mine to life again."
