In the glass: Intense ruby red. On the nose: Fresh bouquet with aromas of ripe, juicy plums, small berries, and subtle wood nuances. On the palate: Very complex and elegant. Intense fruity notes of sour cherries, blackcurrants, and blueberries. Medium-intense tannins. Long-lasting fruit explosion.
The cuvée has been named after the city of Arad since the 18th century, a unique wine in the Romanian landscape and the result of the interplay of earth and sky, which can only arise in special years like 2017. Balla Géza CUVEE ARADINUM 2017 is a mixture of the strict selection of the "best" barrels, in which the elegance and fertility of the Cabernet Franc and the characteristic structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon complement each other, with the perfect balance due to the seasoning of the composition with Kadarka. Full-bodied but velvety wine that bears both the character of the varieties and the distinctive character of the terroir.
