Péter Bakonyi's Cabernet Franc is one of the 3 best Cabernet Francs from the Villány stronghold in the Classic category and was rightly included in the TOP12. (2022)
The grapes were harvested from the Makár and Városhegy vineyards at the end of September. Eight months 50% in steel tanks and 50% in used French oak barrels from Burgundy. Elegant, restrained tannin structure, varietal, translucent appearance, with great depth and great heights. Lush, spicy aromas, black currant, blackberry, cherry, cherry pit finish. Great aging potential!
