From the best vineyards of Villány; a select Merlot of exceptional quality, produced exclusively from the Merlot grape variety and only in exceptional vintages. József Bock wanted to emphasize the uniqueness of this wine with the appellation and named it after Il Magnifico Lorenzo Medici (the Latin "magnifico" means great, wonderful). The grapes and the wine produced from them must meet extraordinary expectations, such as a unique flavor and complexity.
Aged for 24 months in new barriques. The appearance and deep, dark burgundy color encompass all the beauty of the vintage and the terroir. The exuberant flavor and aroma feature notes of milk chocolate, rum-infused sour cherries, prunes, and tobacco. Recommended with chocolate desserts, cigars, and very special occasions.
