Birsalmás vineyard has a special place in our hearts. We produce three single-vineyard, single-variety wines from this vineyard: Birsalmás Pinot Noir, Birsalmás Chardonnay and Birsalmás Furmint. It is in the highly esteemed Mád area, just next to the famous Úrágya vineyard. This southern-exposure, terraced vineyard is one of the most photogenic plots in the whole region. Its rich volcanic rhyolite soil gives an intense minerality to the wines and a sense of freshness. It is one of our most special vineyards for dry wine production."(Winery Sauska)
