100% Merlot from a small-berried, thick-skinned French clone grown on the highest point of the Bocor vineyard in Kisharsány. Dark burgundy red in the glass; the nose initially reveals subtle, reserved animal notes (leather notes) complemented by chocolate. Over time/air, exciting notes of black berries, anise, orange peel, oriental spices and tobacco emerge. The Merlot Enigma is an intense, dense, complex Merlot with taut acidity and great aging potential.
