Kiss Gábor has produced many unforgettable red wines over the last 8 years that we have been working with him. In 2017, talent and opportunity finally came together and a previously missing cuvée was created from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and a hint of Kékfrankos (=Blaufränkisch). It became the missing person. It was harvested at a yield of half a kilo per vine, fermented spontaneously and then aged for 18 months in new 500 liter French barrels. He is charming and elegant, dense and sophisticated, even at this youthful age. Hardly more than a thousand bottles of it were produced. A unique and fantastic cuvée!
Raspberry, church and subtle coffee on the nose. The palate is rich with chocolate cherry, blackcurrant, plum and some blackberry. High acidity and tannins somehow remind me of a Super Tuscany. Simply great!” (Wine lover from Hamburg)
