“Beautiful intensity and complexity on the nose with spices and orange marmalade notes and hints of honeysuckle and azalea. The palate is textural, intense and super sweet but with delicious acidity.“ (Dekanter 2021)
The first Aszú from the Juliet Victor winery. The grapes come from several locations and matured for one and a half years in fine barrique barrels. Light golden in color. Blossoming fruit trees appear on the nose, initially a pinch of mint and chamomile flowers that slowly open to reveal their true complexity with a whole range of intense fruits (orange, apricot). On the palate, too, the exploding fruitiness mixes with honey and spicy notes. The 188 grams of residual sugar and the lively acids typical of the 2017 vintage form a perfect acid-sugar ratio. Due to the combination of 3 * different grapes: Furmint as a base, the sophistication of Hárslevel & # 369; vel (= linden leafed) and some sárgamuskotállyal (muscatel), the Aszú 6 puttonyos does not boast, but asks for attention. A true complex, elegant dessert wine with fruits everywhere.
“Apricot, nectarine, honey and beeswax notes are broken out of the wine, accompanied by orange jam. In addition to its wet stone and saffron character, spicy aromas also appear. It has a juicy, rich taste, but its elegant acidity and many wonderfully ripe dried fruity notes make for a creamy texture during tasting.
