Legenda, the top red wine from the Cseri winery!
Deep dark red in color; on the palate, it's powerful, dense, and rich in structure, with beautiful tannins and dark berry fruits, nougat, caramel, coffee, and a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. The combination of Merlot and Cabernet Franc gives Legenda both soft fruit and fullness (Merlot) and structure, spice, and backbone (Cabernet Franc). A wine full of passion with a long finish.
The Cseri Winery
The winery was founded in 2012 by Róbert and Norbert Cseri, and Norbert initially produced the wines himself. Now Norbert's son, Barnabas, also a qualified viticultural engineer and oenological engineer, has joined the family winery. The Rhein Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Spicy Traminer, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Kékfrankos, currently produced on ten hectares, are not only excellent varietal wines but also the raw material for exciting cuvées. The Cseri family is committed to high quality, producing their wines with unique aromas through hand-harvesting and careful processing. They produce their bottled wines with significant yield limitations, using gentle processing, reductive technology, and barrel aging. Cultivated area: 10 hectares.

Today I opened the Legenda, and I'm thrilled! The nose alone is a dream; I can smell cherries and blackberries. On the palate, it's beautifully velvety, long-lasting, with a berry note again, perhaps a hint of chocolate. I really like it, and I hope you bought a lot!
