Hernyák Brut in the top league of Hungarian traditional method sparkling wines!
In the glass: Light straw yellow/pale yellow with a slight greenish shimmer, clear color.
On the nose: Citrus notes (lime, citrus peel), green apple, floral aromas, and fresh yeast tones, along with bread crust/brioche from the long lees aging.
On the palate: Fresh, lively acidity, good minerality typical of Etyek soil conditions. Subtle nutty, buttery, and yeast/brioche notes are perceptible from the lees-aged components. Creamy perlage (the carbon dioxide bubbles/mousse), persistent, and pleasant.
Finish: Harmonious, fresh, with hints of fruit (apple, citrus), slightly nutty, and yeast aromas. The acidity ensures a lively finish.
