Wine highlight!
"Chambered from the bottle. Very dark, almost black. Nose very reserved, questionably herbs. On the palate full broadside: acid and fruit, tannins in high concentration, black and red currants, licorice, finish long and challenging. The well-carried acidity remains for a long time on the palate. An experience! After 2 days in the corked bottle, still very good, strong, tart, but worn out. Points deducted. After 3 days in the almost empty bottle, it's really big again. Nose now unfolded, leather, flesh, tart on the palate and tannin-heavy, but balanced, finish of licorice and blackberries, very long. Point bonus, crazy!!! (Wine lovers from Bamberg 08/2023)

“A prayer turned into wine”. Wine of the Saint Hill, perfuses the glass with light. Ripe, spicy, fruity nose – primarily mulberry and cranberry – with notes of fresh strawberry jam. Uniquely unusual, astonishingly balanced structure. Soft, very long, vibrant acids. Plenty of fruits, liquorice, herbals on the palate combined with the inevitable chalky and soil character. A blend of St. Andreas top red wine, Kadarka, Kékfrankos, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah. The aroma features musty, earthy notes and dew alongside red berries. High acidity and lots of light, spicy but not unpleasant tannins. The tremendous aromatic intensity that is characteristic of St. Andrea wines - strawberries, raspberries, wild berries, etc. - and a fresh, lively character and great length. With those great St. Andrea wines (Merengő and up), I always respect you, but somehow I just hit you with a bottle. Wonderful, broad-shouldered wines that always have joy and lightness."
