This Cabernet Franc from the premium STONEWINE collection (Sziklabor in Hungarian) grows on pure rock at the very top of the southwest-facing Kovászi vineyard; the work of Balla Géza is invaluable.
This Cabernet Franc impressively showcases the outstanding terroir of the Ménes wine region. The grapes, harvested in the second half of October on the Covsânt hill, are rigorously selected both during harvest and processing.
This top Cabernet Franc has an intense, deep red color and a varietal bouquet with aromas of ripe fruit, blueberries, blackberries, black pepper, eucalyptus, chocolate, and coffee. The palate reflects the characteristics of the nose, overall complex, full-bodied, elegant, and long-lasting. Spontaneously fermented and aged in small 225-liter barrels.
