and for wine lowers it is home to a diverse range of sun-blessed wines!
Around Lake Balaton, you will find the Balatonfelvidék, Badacsony, and the Balatonfüred-Csopak regions (north side of the lake), and then on the south side the Balatonboglár region.
The territory has a complex geographical makeup and supports a remarkable range of white varieties as well as an increasing number of reds. The vulcanic landscape of the north shore contrasts with the gently rolling hills of the south shore.
